The diva of the Bollywood Deepika, was born on 5 January, 1986.When she was 11 months old they moved to Bangalore, India. She attended Sophia High School and completed her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College Bangalore. In high school, she played badminton at the state level. However, she was not keen on pursuing a career as a badminton player. During the time of her film debut she was enrolled with the Indira Gandhi National Open University in Bachelors of Arts (Sociology). At the age of 17, Deepika made her first ramp show.
She debut herself in the industry with a Kannada film in 2006 and in 2007 got an opportunity to prove herself and debut in Bollywood in the film “Om Shanti Om”For her debut in Bollywood, she got the Film Fare best debut female award.Now she is one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. She is considered among the most popular and high-profile celebrities in India.
Following the major success of Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Chennai Express, several media publications began crediting her as the most successful contemporary actress in India. In 2013, she was ranked eleventh on the Indian edition of the Forbes ' "Celebrity 100," a list based on the income and popularity of India's celebrities.The following year she was ranked eighth, with an estimated annual earning of INR 672 million (US$11 million).
