Genelia D'Souza was born on 5 August 1987 in a Catholic Family in Mumbai.Genelia is an Indian model turned actress. She has appeared in many regional cinemas like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. D'Souza first hit the limelight in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan. Genelia began her acting career with Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. She was recognized for her role in Boys the same year, and later established herself in Telugu cinema by acting in several Telugu films during 2003–2005.She has been often tagged in the media as the 'bubbly girl', after portraying the role of a young energetic girl in several movies. Genelia decided to continue her Bollywood career after marriage. Genelia was nominated for many awards and won numerous awards for her excellent performances.
